Emile Roemer, the Commissioner of the King, visited Maastricht on Wednesday afternoon, 24th January. The visit did not take place at the City Hall but in several Maastricht neighbourhoods:
We were permitted to conclude the day with Community Theatre Maastricht.
Community Theatre Maastricht treated us to an open rehearsal of the collage performance “Brokjes Brak,” directed by Hanneke Jonkers. Residents from up to 12 different nationalities participated in the show. Following the performance, there was a meet-and-greet with the actors.
The Commissioner was impressed: “Goosebumps. Really.”
